Pas Fondit Monetare Ndërkombëtar është Banka Botërore qe rrezon pritshmërine e qeverise për rritjen ekonomike. Sipas këtij institucioni, ekonomia shqiptare gjate këtij viti do te rritet me 1 %, nga 3 qe parashikon qeveria. Drejtorja rajonale për Evropën Juglindore ne Bankën Botërore argumenton se, e ardhmja do te vijoje te jete e pasigurt për shkak te krizës dhe ky fakt do te ndikoje ne tkurrjen ekonomike te Shqipërisë. Ministri i financave Ridvan Bode i kërkon Bankës Botërore por edhe institucioneve te tjera financiare qe te heqin dore nga financimi i projekteve te vogla, qe ne shume raste kane mbivendosje. Bode kërkoi bashkëpunim me këto institucione për te financuar projekte me me rendësi për ekonominë dhe komunitetin. Këto deklarata u bene gjate një konference për 20 vjetorin e prezencës se Bankës Botërore ne Shqipëri. Shqipëria dhe Banka Botërore kane një bashkëpunim qe nga viti 1992, kohe ku vendi u be pjese e këtij grupi. Ky institucion ka qene një nga burimet kryesore te mbështes se zhvillimit ekonomik. Ne këto 20 vite banka ka financuar 71 projekte me një shume totale prej 1.2 miliard dollarë. Investimet janë përqendruar ne përmirësimin e rrjetit rrugore, ne sistemin e ujitjes dhe kullimit te tokës, rindërtimin e shkollave apo spitaleve.

These statements were made during a conference on the 20th anniversary of the presence of the World Bank. Albania and the World Bank have a co-operation since 1992, the time where the country became part of this group. This institution was one of the main resources to support economic development. In these 20 years, the Bank has financed 71 projects with a total amount of 1.2 billion dollars. Investments are focused on improving the road network, irrigation and drainage system of the land, the rebuilding of schools or hospitals.
